For a child, or for a supporter's front room?

The gonk and the contrast bear are children's gifts and the safest thing to buy when you do not know a size. The crest cushion sits with an adult, and it is the one item here that works in a shared house without redecorating anything. The sherpa scarf is the only piece that would go to a game.

Are the dress socks an official club item?

They are, and it matters more than it sounds — socks are the item most often sold as club colours without a licence. These carry the crest under the club's agreement rather than simply matching the strip.
