For school, commuting or the gym?

Commuter and premium backpacks carry a laptop safely and are built for daily use over years, which makes them the adult buy. Ultra action and fade styles are lighter and easier to replace, and better suited to a school term where the bag takes a beating. A backpack is the wrong shape for wet kit — a boot bag or gym bag ventilates, and a backpack does not.

Will it take A4 folders and a laptop?

Full-size backpacks here take A4 and a standard laptop; junior and fashion styles are noticeably smaller and suit a nursery bag or a day out. Capacity is on each listing and worth reading, because the shapes photograph very similarly.
