Officially Licensed Club Wristbands and Captains Armbands

A small, entirely club-crested section that splits cleanly in two. Silicone wristbands, usually sold in multi-packs of club colours, cover Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham, Rangers, Aston Villa, Barcelona, Newcastle United and England. Alongside them sit captains armbands for Aston Villa and Newcastle United, and accessory sets that bundle wristbands with other small items.

For wearing or for playing?

Wristband packs are a supporter item — sold in multi-packs, sized loosely, and the thing children wear to a match rather than in a game. A captains armband is playing kit: elasticated, sized to go over a sleeve, and bought for someone who actually leads a side, or as a novelty for a junior player who has just been given the job.

Does the silicone hold its print?

On licensed bands the club name and crest are moulded into the silicone rather than printed on top, so there is no surface layer to peel. That is the difference you notice after a summer of wear, and it is why printed versions look tired within weeks.
