Official Kuromi Drinkware, Keyrings and Stationery

Kuromi is the drinkware-led corner of the Sanrio range here. Mugs and bottles are the largest group — a fuzzy mug, a CMYK mug, a 40oz tumbler, a 30oz pitcher and a plastic drinks bottle — followed by PVC keyrings and a charm keyring, then stationery in the shape of a Punk Vibes notebook, a pencil case and a magnetic bookmark. A silver-plated necklace, bead bracelet, posters, a tote bag and a junior watch complete it.

Kuromi or Hello Kitty?

They are the same house and opposite moods. Kuromi is the black-and-purple, slightly mischievous one, and the people who want her rarely want the pastel alternative. If you are buying for a teenager who has moved past Hello Kitty but still likes Sanrio, this is almost always the right shelf.

Does the licence cover print durability?

On drinkware it does. Approved Kuromi artwork is applied to withstand normal washing, which matters here because so much of this range is a mug or a bottle in daily use — unofficial prints tend to lift at the rim first.
