Officially Licensed Club Hair Scrunchies, Bands and Clips

A small accessories section that has grown as women's football has. Scrunchies, hair bands and clips carry club crests for Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal, with several sold as boxed multi-packs. A character run sits alongside, including Harry Potter and Wicked designs.

For playing, or for wearing?

Both, and the shape tells you which. Scrunchies and elasticated bands hold long hair back for a match or training and are made to be used and lost in equal measure — multi-packs exist for that reason. Clips are decorative, worn to a game rather than in one, and are the ones bought as a gift rather than as kit.

Will a scrunchie hold through a match?

These use a proper covered elastic rather than a light band, so they hold thick hair without snapping, and the fabric crest does not dig in the way a metal clip can. For a full ninety minutes, a scrunchie is the safer choice over a clip.
