A small junior clothing section rather than an adult one. Chelsea covers most of it in toddler and young children's sizes from around eighteen months upward, with a Harry Potter Ravenclaw junior t-shirt alongside. These are printed cotton tees rather than playing kit.
A t-shirt or a replica shirt?
Worth being clear on the difference before buying. These are casual cotton t-shirts carrying a crest or design — comfortable, washable and worn to school holidays and parks. They are not replica playing shirts, which are made in technical fabric and sold through club stores. For a child who wants to look like the team on a pitch, this is not that.
How do the sizes run?
Sizing is by age — 18/23 months, 2/3 years, 3/4 years and upward — rather than by chest measurement. Children's sizing runs slightly small across most licensed ranges, so sizing up is the safer choice for a growing child.
