Titanium sits apart from the rest of the jewellery range because it is neither plated nor steel: it is a solid, notably light metal with a darker, more matte tone than stainless, and the crest is cut into the ring rather than applied to it.

Titanium or stainless steel?

Weight is the honest difference. Titanium is markedly lighter on the hand, which is why people who dislike wearing rings often get on with it, and it is harder to scratch than steel. Stainless steel is heavier and brighter, and there is more choice of design. If the wearer works with their hands, titanium is the one that will still look right in a year.

Is titanium worth the difference?

For daily wear, usually yes. It does not corrode, it holds an edge on the engraving rather than blurring, and it is hypoallergenic — which matters for anyone who reacts to plated or mixed-alloy jewellery.
